Audigraph Music is the sole proprietorship of Eila Peterson, musician, clinician, and music educator.  Dr. Peterson is a specialist in Instrumental Music Education, Kodály methodology, music perception and aural skills.

Her education includes a B.Mus. and B.Ed. from the University of Western Ontario, A.Mus. (clarinet performance) from the Western Ontario Conservatory of Music, M.Mus. (school music) from the University of Calgary, and Ph.D. (music education) from Northwestern University.

Eila’s teaching experience includes all levels from Early Childhood through Graduate School, as well as community-based adult music education.  Her focus as an educator is on music literacy and aural skills, at all ages and levels.

Music writing has always been a special interest, particularly when faced with the special challenges of highlighting the strengths and developing the skills of specific students and ensembles.  Eila’s arrangements have been successfully performed and enjoyed by ensembles and audiences alike since 1976.  Her knowledge of idiomatic writing for different instruments stems from her diverse performing background, having played clarinet as a soloist and in wind ensembles and orchestras, flute and saxophone in pit orchestras and jazz bands, bassoon in orchestras, trombone and euphonium in brass ensembles, and percussion in bands.
